Seattle Harlot?

Shit.....I meant to publish this here this morning, but screwed up and published in the wrong spot! Crap. Moot point anyway, I will not be seeing the Harlot.

So, I'm in Seattle this week for work. I'm tired from the time change and just want to sleep. But you really don't get much done that way.

I just found out, last night, from the Harlot's Blog that she will be here in Seattle, tonight! I saw her in Maryland (left absolutely no impression on her) and had a good time. Wondering if I should go tonight, just for the heck of it, play a little stalker. The other option would be to spend time with my co-workers...

Oh, and I was so on the edge yesterday after landing I was ready to bust into tears in my rental car. I wasn't really prepared for this trip, I didn't pay attention to flight times or really much else. Which is unusual for me, I usually research places to see, directions etc. The flight from the stop-over in Chicago to 3hrs and 44min! Ouch, I wasn't mentally prepared for that.

After landing and wandering around the Seattle Airport I finally found the rental place, which was closed, and someone told me I had to go to the parking lot office. I went to the lot office and the same guy who told me I had to go there, waited on me. I didn't get that. So I got my paperwork and started walking to the car, which was completely on the opposite side of the huge parking deck. I get there and what do a see? A friggin' Mustang.

Now, my husband drives a Mustang and I HATE driving his car and avoid it as much as possible. I am certainly not comfortable driving a car I hate in a city I've never been in. I almost lost it and started crying right there. Luckily, the girl at the return counter right next to where the car was was nice enough to switch the type of car. I now have a Chevy Cobalt.

Yes, it's a crappy car, but I know I can handle it. It all seems silly now to freak out. Blame it on Jet Lag....
